Today we’ve had a lazy day here in the “lowlands”, visiting the old town and El Panacillo: “the little bread bun” hill with its statue on top.
In the afternoon we went for a gentle jog in the park next to our hotel – an unusually interesting park, with water, bridges, sports apparatus, playgrounds, skateboarding pits complete with skateboarders and cyclists doing tricks… A park full of people of all ages enjoying themselves.
However, we don’t have much time for blog writing today, because the organisers have published an article on their webpage telling us that it’s important for all particiapnts to read the competition rules. When the text includes both ARWS (the World Series) rules and Huairasinchi’s own rules there’s certainly plenty to read. And if we should be in any doubt, and we are, then it’s the Huairasinchi rules that rule, and if we are still in doubt, which is quite likely, then it’s the Spanish version of the text that applies…
